Really good app. Weather prediction is very good, departure planning is excellent. We used the departure planning for a sail from Colombia to Key West, and it was very helpful departing that coastal area which is infamous for high winds and waves. Integrated effortlessly with Iridium Go it helped us decide to stop at Caymans for a better weather window for rounding the west end of Cuba to the Dry Tortugas, then identified a short but excellent weather window to Key West. Perfect!

Very useful app as it downloads the Predict wind weather forecasts and weather routes for use offline. Only gave it 4 stars because it isnotthati tuitive to use. It could be setup just like the Predict wind app which would be much easier, but it isn't. Great though, recommend. I used it on a Biscay Crossing on July 22, and it really helped me find the wind and avoid the worst waves.

Previous version had land maps in full topographic color. New version removed all multicolor, leaving land surfaces looking like water due to "new downgraded" all blue color. Looks like land users are out of luck as multicolor terrain referencing is dead. I just uninstalled my Offshore version. Still no topo color for land masses. Hey, why fix something that's broken when leaving land all blue is fine for some?

I'm a new user, so not fully up to speed with Offshore, but it seems unstable on Android. Crashes regularly (Samsung S9+, Android 10, and GRIBs downloaded over a Starlink connection.) Have tried all the usual workarounds...clear cache, clear data, restart phone, reinstall app, all to no avail. Strange, because the Predict wind app seems to work OK, but of course it requires a continuous Internet connection, whereas once the Offshore app has current GRIBs it can be reviewed offline.

Same problem as previous review... No grib file download... one dated Oct 2020...on east coast USA.... app doesn't function

Clunky user interface. Sometimes you hit phone back button, sometimes the app screen has a back button, sometimes the app has a done button to return to chart view. Chart detail poor for waterways, difficult to find you destination unless you use a separate chart plotter to get coordinates first then manually enter it. Very inconvenient.
