PriceGoose: Grocery Prices

Start in your kitchen. Scan the barcode on any grocery item you already have at home, and PriceGoose tells you what that exact item costs at supermarkets near you so you know the best price before you buy.

How it works

1. Pick up anything in your kitchen and scan the barcode.
2. PriceGoose prices that grocery item at stores around you.
3. See who has it cheapest before you go, not after you've paid.

The same grocery item can cost noticeably different amounts at supermarkets on the same street, and nobody can hold hundreds of prices in their head. PriceGoose is for the moment you're standing in the aisle wondering whether this is a good price and for the food budget planning you do at the kitchen counter before you leave.

PriceGoose is built to answer that question item by item, with real prices rather than a flyer's highlights.

PriceGoose covers major Canadian grocery chains. Coverage is best in Ontario and improving elsewhere; we're adding stores continuously. If your area is thin, email us and we'll prioritise it.

PriceGoose is free to use. We're a small operation still shaping the product, and feedback from early users genuinely changes what gets built next.
