Description
The Profound UI Mobile Client allows users to access information stored on an IBM i server through the use of an Android powered device. IBM i data can be retrieved, updated, and/or integrated with native device features, such as the camera for photo uploading.
Once connection details are supplied, all IBM i data access is in real time. Existing IBM i character-based applications can be converted to be accessed using an enriched user interface on the mobile device.
The Profound UI Mobile Client communicates with the Profound UI server component, which must be installed and properly configured on the IBM i server.

The app is fantastic, except for one major issue. Constantly having to log back in. I use the app anywhere from 8–12 hours per day. I prob log in 50 times per day. No joke. Why can't we keep sessions active longer than this? I realize this app is just an interface to the server, but this is an app-specific problem. We have approx 500 users, and it's driving all of us nuts. Happens even if we NEVER click the back button and leave the app open in the background. (Which drains battery life.) Help?

It's amazing that such a simple app could be such a p.o.s. Always a hassle to deal with. Takes a half hour just to open. All developers/programmers should retire and find another line of work.
