You can train with all kind of time signatures with this programmable metronome. Usual like 4/4, 3/4, 6/8, etc
Now, no excuse ! You can train with odd time signatures such the ones that uses Dream Theater, Tool and other bands.
Cool features : - Possibility of programming a 'mute' for some measures to train your regularity and precision. - New (April 2021) : - you can program different tempo for each set of measures. - you can manage (save, load) presets that you create yourself.

Being allowed to change the count after a prescribed number of measures is super nice. I would give it 5 stars if it came with other features that are common with other metronomes.

Looking for an easy-to-use app which can set up loops with different time signatures, stumbled upon this. Would like to be able to have 1 or 2 bar count in rather than just two beats though.

Not bad. If you put in a long song & you mess up part of the way through, you have to start over from the beginning. There's no way to start only that section over. Also, if you want a count in, you have to add a measure in the beginning. Otherwise, it's pretty good. A feature that would be helpful would be if you could put the song in at tempo & then change the whole thing by a percentage, so you can slow it down for learning without changing each section individually. Thanks!

Finally, a programmable metronome app that's allows easy programming of a sequence of changing time signatures and tempos. This is the app I've been waiting for! Hope the developer continues to add features and improve it e.g. need to be able to speed up / slow down a whole sequence instead of just one line at a time.

Pros: rotates correctly on Chromebook (yeah) cons: can't control accented beats or accented sounds. Makes odd meters a chore/impossible
