Comments on Project FeederWatch for Android

Easy to use! I love Feeder watch. Tracking birds and recording my observations is easy with the app!

★★★★★ Myxomatosis · Aug 20, 2026

Thank you, Project Feeder Watch! This past early spring and summer of 2026, the updates to this app and Nest Watch have solved every issue I had been experiencing. I sincerely appreciate all the hard work. NO ADS!! :)

★★★★☆ Ellen Star · Nov 9, 2022

Unable to log in this year. The app freezes after entering password. Update: thanks for the response. The bug fix appears to be working. I was able to log in. The app is more convenient to use rather than entering the counts on the website.

★★★★★ Aaron de Boer · May 13, 2022

A big improvement for count collection. I love the visual bird guides integrated into the interface.

★☆☆☆☆ lori burritt · Feb 3, 2020

I loaded it and tried to submit counts, it kept freezing up and needing to be force stopped. It did work 2 times but after that it became difficult to enter counts and impossible to edit. I ended up entering through the website and then returned to the app, the entries were still there and the only way to delete them was to delete the entire count, and it removed it entirely, and I had to go back to the website to re-enter them. I just tried again for this new count, and I had to uninstall it.

App is terrible and never works. So disappointed at Cornell for the failure to make this simple app work. Paid $18 to join feeder watch only to not be able to even submit my lists. I don't get what the point of this app is then if it doesn't work. 👎👎👎👎👎

★☆☆☆☆ Patricia Bennett · Oct 15, 2022

Unusable. I couldn't get in because needed to "restore modal app". Zero explanation on Feeder Watch website as to what that means. No place to ask questions I just uninstalled it and will use old fashion paper.
