Set it up on my kitchen table it was almost plug n play. Squirrels can actually destroy this feeder. Wonderful to be away from home and check in on my friendly birds I love it that it never runs down due to the solar cells recharge all day

Update*** the camera and app work fine some days but too often the camera doesn't save moments. I had so many birds today and when I looked, zero videos. The camera was working fine until you did an update. Now it absolutely refuses to record moments on its own. I've reset the device like it said but absolutely nothing. And for the money for the feeder, it's absurd how much money they want to charge you for the good features. The chat program for help also doesn't work. 😵‍💫

Had the bird feeder for about 2 months. App was down for days for issues with birdfy. Birdfy resolved their issue and the app finally connected to Wi-Fi and the feeder. Worked for about two weeks, and it is down again....this has become a very expensive feeder that has only worked about half the time I've owned it. Hope that they get the camera issues figured out. Awesome when it works, but my experience has been a very average feeder with a non-functional camera. Should have bought a nice feeder.
