Not sure what's the complaints about but this thing works from day one. Always get alarm notifications and always ring my phone when someone rings the doorbell. Note: if you're having problem with Wi-Fi connectivity or getting alarms, it might something to do with your power source as it might not be compatible with it.

Very easy to install total installation, about 30 minutes. It will work with your old copper coil doorbell but not newer doorbells. I like the plugin doorbell it came with much better; it has about 20 different tunes including happy birthday to you! It's fantastic for birthday parties. It is very quick (seconds) to alert me to visitors breaking the motion beam or when the doorbell is pushed. Pictures for motion, video for when doorbell is pressed. Love the live view very much! Sometimes the voices on both sides of the conversation lags but not all the time. True the blue doorbell light is hard to see during daylight but is does come with 2 plastic stickers that says Push Here. It has a very large field of view. The clarity is pretty good except for peoples faces for some reason. The motion area / sensitivity can be expanded to fit your needs. I've had zero false alerts in about 20 days. My porch is high, so I only get alerted to people about 1/2 up 7 stairs. If I could point it down some I guess it would do better. It's a fairly large doorbell, I could only screw on the left side due to my sidelights being narrow. So I made a wood mount its very sturdy regardless.

I have had so many issues with this video doorbell not working well over the 2 years I have had it. I can have packages dropped off at my front door, which is where the Bluebell is located, and no photos are taken of anything. However, if it is windy out, it will take many pics of the trees. I now discovered that my device has completely disappeared from the app! I have purchased a different video doorbell, just waiting to have it installed. This device and app are too buggy to recommend.

The doorbell worked fine for 2 2 weeks then it just stopped ? It still rings but no camera and no connection to my phone or Wi-Fi. Even a reconnect to Wi-Fi and still nothing? What's wrong with it??

After today's update 9/21/18 my live feed stopped working. Everything else works still, but the live feed was working before the latest update. 9/23/18 contacted support, they suggested uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling. That fixed the problem.
