TOP TIP JUNE 2026: USE BIRD FY APP INSTEAD. I have had netvue cameras for years with no problems until this week when the App said I have no network (which isn't correct). Found a suggestion on Reddit to use Birdfy App instead, and it works with my previous login details. This Hack means my NetVue cameras aren't obsolete.

Older version of the netvue app 5.25.8 works surprisingly good w/ pixel 7 and the older vigil & vigil 2. Had to update the Alexa app in order for it to work on the fire sticks. Occasionally will have some issues but for being over 4 years old and not updating or paying for anything, it works for everything I needed for constant monitoring with alert sent to my phone.

This app is terrible. Just says no internet when I know full well that I have internet. Plus the app flickers. Take my advice and buy another brand of camera bird feeder.

Is this discontinued? I get is a network error. I tried reinstalling, Birdfy works. This is the better app. Can view all cams. No community photos. If your notifications don't open in the app, go in android Apps > Netvue > settings and check 'Appear on top'. The video play button doesn't work, but now you can see the images instead of dismissing the alert and not opening netvue. This feature was off for me around the update before Feb.25. Notifications appear to be fixed as of Feb.25/22 update.

Camera can only work with Wi-Fi 2.4GHz connection, when all Wi-Fi connections are now a solid 5GHz. They need to change it to make sure the cameras can work with 5ghz Wi-Fi connection.
