Description
Project planning plans the tasks of a project. It establishes a project schedule based on tasks and task relationships, and allows you to manage the project schedule and task assignment. The results are presented in the form of tables, a Gantt chart and a dependency diagram.
This program was specially designed for a phone or tablet, with the aim of simplifying data entry and clearly presenting results. For that : - the durations of tasks and delays are in whole numbers of working days, - planning is only as soon as possible with fixed task durations, - and all the essential information is filled in by default.
If you need more precision for your schedule (hours and minutes), look at the "Short project planning" program (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jmontch.shortproject).
This program will allow you to find the truly critical paths that will be shown in the Gantt chart thanks to: - the distinction between two types of tasks, essential and ancillary, only essential tasks are taken into account for the calculation of margins and the determination of critical paths, - the definition of events, distinct from tasks, shown on schedules, but not corresponding to any work and not considered as activities for margin calculations.
To monitor the progress of the project, you can enter the actual start dates for started tasks and the end dates for completed tasks, and recalculate the schedule. And also enter percentages of task completion and planned or realizes workloads.
This program is also: - the possibility to define task groups, - 4 types of link between tasks and events: start to finish, start to start, finish to finish, finish to start, - the possibility to fix some dates of start of tasks or events, and of start and end of tasks, - the calculation of the schedule as soon as possible and the free and total margins, their presentation in tables, - a Gantt chart showing the critical paths, - a dependency diagram allowing you to visualize all the relationships between tasks and with events, - the possibility of designating a responsible for each task, - a mechanism for automated accounting of holidays, - the management of successive editions of a project, - the possibility of creating an unlimited number of projects, each project being saved in an XML file in the mobile's memory, - the absence of limitations on the number of tasks, groups and events, - saving planning results as a PDF file, or CSV text file, - the possibility of entering a lot of information in free format for the project and its components, - exporting project data or results files to the mobile's public extended memory, or to backup applications in the "cloud", or attached to an email, - importing project data files, either via an application that retrieves files, or from the mobile's public extended memory, - importing and converting projects created with Microsoft Project and saved as an mpp or xml file, - and online help of a thousand lines.

Useful app for small biz with projects to manage wish it could sync to google calendar for the tasks listed, would sure make this a winner (worth paying a few bucks if needed)

Can't create End Date Without being able to get the dates right, the whole thing is useless. Going this can be corrected. Using Samsung GNote3 on Verizon using latest Android software.

Awful UI Really bad UI. Difficult to use and dialogs where the OK Burton was obscures by the keyboard and the keyboard would not hide.
