Proovr is a companion app for the Proxyclick platform, helping you and your team return to the workplace safely and securely.

Proovr will ask the user’s location while using the app and when the app is in the background in order to allow location based-features.
For example, you can only check-in to your office when you are actually on-site. We use geofencing to provide notifications on entering to make this process smoother.

Simply put, it's the easiest way I've ever seen to manage staff coming onsite. Book in for the day? One click. Book a desk? Three clicks. Get an emergency roll call? One click. Boom!

Once checked in, I'm unable to check out unless I have the GPS on (and I don't want to turn it on). Check in method is confusing when gps is not on. There should be a button saying "check in" instead of the "initiate an action by scanning the code". When booking a desk for the whole week I need to go through the entire process of choosing my building, my desk, ..., for each day of the week. Come on, the app should allow batch operation and let me book my desk for several days.

On my new phone, it no longer prompts me to check in or check out based being at or away from the workplace. Can't turn notifications permission on. Researching why, it seems it is because the app doesn't target newer versions of Android. So, it seems they're not interested in updating this app. Last updated Oct 2023, and it's now ended of March 2024

Amateurish. You cant move around between booking and viewing seats easily and once you've booked a seat you can't see where other people are sitting that day without cancelling your own booking. If you do cancel your booking just to see where a colleague is, on a busy day someone else will have grabbed your seat by the time you've finished checking, and then you've got nowhere to sit. Useless.
