This tool calibrates the proximity sensor by one click!
If you are facing the following issue during call: Display does not switch to dark while you having the phone at your ear, or does not change to active mode (highlight, display is ready to use) while you move it away from your ear.
You just have to install the tool and execute the calibration afterwards click OK at the lower side of the display and the calibration is finished. You can uninstall it afterwards.

Worked on my ZTE Valet Hadn't had the problem of my screen not turning back on during a call until today, but this app seems to have fixed it.

Seems to have worked. The fun never ends with my ZTE 265C Valet smart phone. The proximity sensor problem is debilitating: the screen would go black on my phone as soon as a call was connected. It became impossible to end calls because the keypad was deactivated. This app seems to fix that problem. I will give it 4 stars, because there are no instructions. (One reviewer says that you should put the phone to your ear and start the calibration there, because that is the location where you want the phone to black out. I'm not sure if that is correct. Where did they get that information? I did not do that, and the calibration seems to have worked.)

Force Closes Anytime I hit calibrate it just results in a force close so it is completely useless for my phone. Uninstalling after I post this.

Does not work for ZTE Majesty I have reinstalled this app several times. It says calibration failed every time.

Kyocera Hydro - doesn't work When I pressed "Calibrate", it stopped working. Too bad because Hydro is unusable because of the sensitivity of the proximity sensor.
