Very helpful tool for weather and solar energy

It's OK but expensive. The weather forecast model (which seems to be either gfs, icon or metro blue) is not very arrucrate. I think premium users should be able to pick the model they use and have access to higher accuracy models such as ecmwf or ukv.

Using the free version and looks good. Lots of useful well presented info. Would sign up for £10 a year but not £30.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY First off I paid for a month. This would be a great tool if it could get the cloud cover for your location correct. If it used real time weather data instead of forecast data I would give it 5 ☆ rating, and it would be my favorite solar app. As it is, it can't correctly do real time power. If there are no clouds forecast then it is spot on for hourly predictions such shame that someone would develop such a useful app and not do real time testing and work out the bugs.

Used to be great and generation estimates were near the mark. In this update they're utter rubbish. Showing 2.42 kWh for tomorrow, 5th July, from 2x 5.88 arrays.

The app has some neat features, but it's too expensive. The idea is to save money when you install solar PV and a battery, not waste £30 annually on this. Sure there's a free version, but it doesn't off you the following days solar generation predictions so that you could tailor your overnight offset for your battery. I don't need the 15 day look ahead, but you could include the following day with the free version or make a 2nd tier which removes the ads and offers the extra day for a lot less money
