Anyway for this to have a repeat so that if the queue is empty it has something to play. Perhaps some way to play the most popular songs of the party or just random songs. I really don't want people to have to be buried in their phones at a party. Otherwise great app! Basically just what I was looking for. Oh subsonic support would be amazing as well!

Eclipse Google's own Chromecast Unparalleled by even Google's implementation of casting, this app is puts the queue, album art, artist art together tastefully on your big screen. It's democratic voting keeps the dance floor alive. One improvement that would really help get parties started would be allowing Play Music to share playlists to Qcast, currently only individual songs are shareable.

This is really close to the app I needed. Love the google play music integration (which is basically as good/better than local music support as you can just upload whatever you want to google music). The only things it needs are to have a basic playlist as default with guest picks superimposed in random order over it and slightly randomized picks (as others have said) vs. just playing songs in order of selection. Bonus points for changing the queue with guest thumbs up/downing stuff in queue changing the play order and tokens the host can pass out to limit a few guests hogging songs. If yoi did all this, the app would essentially be perfect. I'd be happy to throw a few bucks for a paid version if it did all the above.

Bugged Chromecast playback doesn't work, can't sign into SoundCloud with google account. No option to change Spotify playback quality.

Doesn't playback, won't load my songs from Google play account Playback on my device doesn't work and will "pause" the song a split second after trying to play it. Playback from website doesn't work and only shows album art of current song. Only five songs from my Google play music account are shown on the app.
