Been using his watch face apps on the Gear Fit2 for years. However, the SMS text messaging feature on the Calendar Fit Watch no longer works, it used to work a long time ago.

Go to settings and then APPS to find this. Allow permissions on everything. Restart the watch face (select a different one and then reselect this one) and you're good to go!
