As a brokerage it's great, no complaints, but as I'm not a trader and just buying to invest it's a bit harder for me to use than Wealth simple. e.g. needing to deposit money via e-transfer when my main bank isn't supported for the Flinks application they used to move the money, needing to input a trading password to buy ETFs, and not being able to buy fractional shares.

Wealth Simple is 10/10 free buy/sell of stocks ... Q Trade is junk compared to them, the amount of fees that you charge for the account plus to $8.75 for every buy and sell is just ridiculous. I won't be dealing with you much longer

Only good for checking your current account with Trade. The search option is very limited. Very hard to find what I am looking for. Also, the watch list does not sync with the web based system. I can't see the watch list I created on the website, and when log in on the website I can't see the watch list I created on the app. I have been with Trade for many years. Luckily I don't really trade very often, but it is not convenient at all. It feels like I am using 2 different system.

Please read before using this company. Trade is riddled with fee's there's a quarterly administrative fee $38, that If you don't pay they sell your stocks to cover it, without consulting with you first. Then you have the buy and sell fee of $6 per buy and $6 per sell. And then when you've had enough and transfer to a good platform for retail investors (Wealth simple) there's a $150 fee. Please do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from Trade you will be paying more fees than making any money.
