I play puzzle games for mental stimulation, and because I like feeling competitive. Queens as a diet sudoku is fun, and the app's UI and gameplay loop is simple and intuitive, but the ads...1-3 at a time every 2 puzzles, and at some point it feels like winning isn't a question of skill but rather how many ads im willing to tolerate for the next x minutes. I don't mind monetization but I wish they were less aggressive about it, yeesh.

These achievements should have unlocked for me but haven't: Independent Ruler, Month of Majesty and Royal Bounty. There are also others that I'm working my way towards that should have unlocked right when achievements became available, but those are at least showing my progress towards them. Not getting Royal Bounty is particularly frustrating, it takes hours to complete the Queen's Treasure.

The core of Queen's Master is a genuinely fun logic puzzle that didn't get old even as I climbed levels into the triple didgets. What did get old though? Armageddon. The worst Armageddon of any app I've ever played. How bad is it? On top of the normal "add to play a level," "add to double your winnings," "add to get the pet you didn't want to stop giving you sad puppy eyes...." on top of all of that nonsense... you have to watch an add to rename your pet. It's that bad.

This game was fun until the last few days. Yes, there are way too many ads with too many clicks to close the ad. I get that the game is ad supported, but enough already. The ad shouldn't take longer to watch than the actual level takes to complete. But now, the game is unplayable due to the glitching. You might be able to place one queen before the level lags. Then you can only place an X, no queens, and if you try to remove the X, it will take at least 4 taps, if you can remove it at all.
