It's much better than the old photo. Still missing a few key features: doesn't support new HDR photo standard. If user edit already uploaded local photos, it won't upload the new edit. This can be solved provide a sync function instead of backup.

Overall this is a great app, although it does have some issues and areas where it could be improved. For example, you don't need to download every image from the NAS if the original image was backed up from your phone and is still in your phone. Instead, it should try to show the images on your phone if available, and fall back to the NAS image otherwise, to speed things up. Basically it should work like Google Photos as much as possible.

If the devs are listening... app has really improved, but PLEASE add the ability to remove background blurring on the desktop interface as well. And PLEASE allow full resolution display of photos on the desktop. My images don't look sharp, and I have to go and check the files to make sure they were in focus and properly processed. No point taking high quality images if they look so rubbish in the viewer.

Backup photo and video using File Pro but after letting the thumbnail generation completed, I still can't see any pic in my qumagie app, even the qumagie software can't view any pic. This error msg showed up when in viewing using my phone app "file format not supported thumbnail will be displayed instead". In the qumagie software, totally no error msg. Thumbnail not loading, pic also not loading.

Not enjoying this switch from photo. Backing photos to my NAS doesn't work very well, I keep getting a failed count on the notification, then find the app uploaded the same file +100 times with a -1, -2 etc. suffix for some reason. Also loads the high-res thumbnails from the qnap so slowly, I've had to delete all the things on the nas and try again with low res thumbnails because the albums just come up with icons. Now I'm waiting days for the thumbnails to be created too! Really disappointed.
