RaceBuddy: Lap & Drag Timer

RaceBuddy turns a GPS box and your phone into a complete drag-racing and circuit-timing system. Measure your 0-60 and 1/4 mile, time every lap and sector, and read real-world horsepower and torque — all from a single run.

Works over Bluetooth with RaceBuddy ONE, Dragy (69, 70, Pro), RaceBox Mini / Mini S / Micro, RaceBox.cc and RaceHF — no adapters, no cables.

▸ DRAG RACING
• 0-60, 0-100, 60-100 and custom speed pairs
• 1/4 mile, 1/8 mile, 60 ft — with 1-foot rollout option
• DIFF time: live comparison against a reference run, so you never break out of your bracket or class
• Predicted 1/4 mile, updated live while you're still accelerating
• Slope-corrected accuracy — up- and down-slope passes stay comparable
• Density-altitude context on every run
• Compare Runs side by side, or against any run by ID
• Full run history and archive

▸ LAP TIMING
• Automatic circuit detection from a global track database
• Live sector splits, delta and theoretical-best lap
• Compare Laps — full telemetry vs your own laps or public leaderboard laps, sector by sector
• Create and publish custom tracks — sprints, hill climbs, autocross, any unlisted circuit
• Session history with VBO / CSV export

▸ POWER & TORQUE — AI SMART GARAGE
• Type your car; AI fills engine, drivetrain, gearing, weight and frontal area
• Real-world hp and torque from a single clean GPS run
• Corrected for slope, density altitude and rolling resistance
• Unlimited vehicles with mods tracking, so every result stays tied to its build

▸ AI CORNER COACH
• Turn-by-turn corner analysis from your laps — entry, apex and exit
• See exactly where you lose time, and how to get it back

▸ VIDEO OVERLAY
• HD recording with synchronized telemetry — speed, G-force, altitude, time
• Custom layouts and branding with intro / outro graphics
• Green-screen export for Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci or CapCut
• Export any run or lap as a clean image card for Instagram or TikTok

▸ GLOBAL LEADERBOARDS
• Drag and lap leaderboards
• Filter by car, country and region

▸ FREE vs PRO
Free is genuinely useful: the full drag suite, lap timing with sectors and ideal lap, the AI Smart Garage, global leaderboards, HD recording with the default overlay, and demo mode. RaceBuddy ONE owners connect
for free.

Pro adds DIFF + Predicted 1/4 mile, Compare Runs, Power & Torque measurement, Compare Laps, custom track creation, the AI Corner Coach, advanced video (front camera, picture-in-picture, 2K / 4K, portrait, custom
layouts, green-screen) and connection to Dragy, RaceBox, RaceBox.cc and RaceHF.

▸ 8 LANGUAGES
English, German, Spanish, French, Croatian, Russian, Ukrainian and Simplified Chinese.

Note: built-in phone GPS is not precise enough for drag or circuit timing — RaceBuddy requires a supported external GPS receiver. Power & torque figures are a comparable measurement, not a dyno replacement.
