I saw a bunch of very critical reviews and was apprehensive. I received my module plugged it into my ESP me3 controller and followed all the prompts. The module needed an update which it did. The entire process, including syncing to my Wi-Fi, took no more than 10 minutes. Opened the app. Ran through all the pages. Very clear-cut and easy to use. I think a lot of people who have left negative reviews must have some sort of technology challenges. I am an old dude, but this app is not complicated.

I do like this rainbird 2.0 version. The old version had a lot of lag time connecting to control panel. Now its 2 seconds on average to controller. So if you are having connection issues see which version you are on.

I got the new lnk module because the lnk 1 was deprecated. Setup was a pain because my SSID password for my guest network was not accepted. Have no idea why. I had to connect to my main network which was set up for dual broadcast. That finally work. Only 4 stations were being recognized but that finally corrected itself closing the app and reopening it. Seems to be working fine.

Update: I reset my controller and reset the app, and set everything up from scratch, and it's now working fine! ------- This used to work okay. But lately, it shows that a zone is running when it's not, and I can't stop it on the app. Also, I have trouble starting a zone. I need to first go out to the garage, unplug the controller, plug it in, restart the app and hope it works... also the controller goes offline for no reason.

This app does not work well with the ARC6 controller. It constantly loses connection and times out when using the "run now" feature. There is strong Wi-Fi but still I have to constantly force stop the app, clear cache, reset the controller, etc. and most of the time It's just faster to walk to the controller and do it from there, which completely defeats the purpose of this set up. Come on Rainbird, large corporation like you shouldn't have these issues. Please fix your app/software.

Getting this app to manually water the lawn is an exercise in patience EVERY SINGLE TIME you try to use it.
