The 2.0 app is so much better than the 1.0. Add in the updated Wi-Fi module, and I now can actually take controller of my irrigation system. The old app and old Wi-Fi module were absolutely terrible.

When you set your Rainbird up for the first time, make sure ALL settings Location, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 2.4 and all app permissions are enabled. If you have VPN turn it off during setup. You can turn on whatever you want AFTER your Rainbird is connected and setup. Mine works perfect, and I have two controllers in different locations no problems. If you're having an issue it's an operator error or your Wi-Fi network not the app. Support is very helpful, call before you get frustrated. Have a great day!

Get the controller with a physical dial, the app worked great at first but then nothing but connectivity issues. The weather forecast feature doesn't work for the area im in eigher, always delays for rain then it ends up being 100 degrees and sunny skies, I wish I could just set a physical dial and be done, but instead I fight an app that won't connect or send the signals to start the sprinklers.

Giant pain, doesn't always connect, app says one thing and the system does another, the last update made it WORSE. Right this moment, my controller is OFF but the app shows a zone is actively watering..... nothing is on.

The point of having the app is to allow the user to adjust and control when each station turns on and off. it's not rocket science, ON - OFF. Why is this simple concept so complicated for RainBird. This 2.0 version is useless and extremely frustrating. If the program is set to run at every 3 days, without any automatic delays or special features. Then I expect it to run every three days rain or shine. Not when it feels like turning on. I've reported this issue numerous times in the app.

Very erratic, and doesn't irrigate when it's programmed to irrigate. Can't figure out what the problem is... about the best way to do it is done a manual irrigation.
