Description
Raindar II is an updated recreation of an Android app that worked up to Android 9 but hasn't been updated since 2013. Raindar II aims to support most features of the old app and works on Android 4.4 through the latest version of Android (Android 11).
Going somewhere and you're not sure if you need to bring your umbrella? Check Raindar II! Raindar II displays animated Doppler radar images on your Google Map. When you start Raindar II it automatically focuses on your location so you can quickly see if there is precipitation coming your way.
Raindar II works out of the box but has many configuration options. Raindar II only works for locations around the world.
Color: - green/yellow/red is rain - blue/white is snow
On Google TV: - Use the D-pad for navigate up/down/left/right - Use the media forward/back or next/previous buttons to zoom in and out

I love it. Use it on the lake to keep out of the lighting. Used to have the old raindar app, and it was good too. Very accurate and easy to tweak. Best weather radar app I've found.

I've used the Raindar and Raindar II apps for years now. It's my go to whenever I'm curious about where a storm is, if it's heading my way, how quickly, and how large and strong of a storm, too. As well as if it's just rain? Or is it snow? Where I'm located is in the bottom of the bowl of a valley, surrounded on pretty much all sides by large mountain ranges. It gas definitely been an enjoyable help, especially if you're a thunderstorm lover like us.

Used to be a great app. Ever since they changed radar providers this app is trash. The data and how its displayed has killed this app.

Since last update it won't display radar or anything on screen until I delete all data. Then works once, and then I have to delete data again.

Been using this app well Raindar since it first came out. I loved it precise, and very reliable however it has not been going past the loading screen for a month now.
