Comments on Rainsee Browser for Android

★★★★★ Paul Evans · Oct 26, 2025

An exceptional browser with so many customizable options. Ad blocking, dark mode, video player as standard or add more extensions to push the limits. This browser has so much potential. It's a keeper!

I have tried all the browsers that support plug-ins for Android. They were pretty good but not best bcoz of their similarities. All those browsers were similar to kiwi browser or firefox. But this one is different from those forks. But for two reason I don't want to use this any more i.e. it's name & it's "user interface" it looks like old but nowadays people use stock themes if it would include themes support like Vivaldi I guarantee you that I can be best.

Good browser. Decent customizability. Unparalleled extension support (Chromium AND Firefox). However, lots of English translations are very poor and confusing, please fix. For example, I couldn't figure out ” Traceless" mode; I thought it was giving an error "soft and traceless. Strong traceless (cause unable to login)". But then I realized you had to tap one. It doesn't say the difference between soft and strong. These and others should be retranslated. There's even some Chinese Heinz left over

Overall I appreciate how much work was put in to make this browser feature-rich. I love that it has a preview button for links, & both Firefox/Chrome extension support. Some things could use improvement like how there's no option to copy images themselves straight to the clipboard, the scrollbar doesn't appear on some pages, and some websites like Twitter are broken. Couldn't get the chrome desktop data sync extension to work either. But I know it's only 1 developer, so I'm still very impressed!

I downloaded the app and when I tried to type in search bar, it is saying "Rain see Browser isn't optimized for latest version of android. Screen touches may be delayed or not recognized." If I can't type anything then there is no point using. I am not sure if anyone has faced the same kind of issue. This might be a bug. I request you to resolve it at the earliest ASAP. Thank you.

Fix the landscape error! When I put video to landscape the browser goes into landscape mode and never come back to portrait mode!
