RaMBLE is a proof‑of‑concept tool from Context Information Security that detects, logs, and maps Bluetooth Low Energy devices, highlighting BLE privacy considerations. It runs in the background to log advertising traffic and stores data for export or import, without connecting to devices, and uses Google Maps for visualization.
Pros & Cons
Background BLE scanning and mapping visualization (Google Maps)
Data export/import for offline analysis
Privacy‑centric design (no device connections, no data sharing)
Modern tech stack leveraging AndroidX, Firebase, and Google Maps
Not listed in any top app lists, indicating niche positioning
Recent download activity data for the last 30 days is unavailable
As a proof‑of‑concept, feature breadth may be narrower than full BLE tooling

Description
RaMBLE is a proof of concept application for detecting, logging and mapping Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices such as iBeacons and fitness trackers. For more information on Bluetooth low energy see our blogs: http://goo.gl/WxfbX7 and https://goo.gl/b0gqhO.
We built RaMBLE to show how easily BLE devices can be detected, identified and tracked; It highlights the privacy concerns with some manufacturers' implementation of BLE.
The scanner runs in the background and logs all indirect advertising packets and scan responses received from BLE devices in range. All data is logged into a database that can be exported to the SD card, or imported from an existing database file. It does not connect to any devices found, nor does it share any data with anyone.
It requires a phone or tablet that supports Bluetooth Low Energy, aka Bluetooth Smart. It also requires Android 5.0 or higher.
A list of devices that support BLE can be found here: http://goo.gl/2X3feH

Many apps claim to do what this app does, this is the only one that works. Found and IDd Chipolo tracker and neighbors wireless mouse xD best app of this type

Great. But still shows "unknown" for Exposure Notification service UUID. EDIT: that's what I thought, but even new devices show "Unknown". Should I remove all app data (but that would remove my current history)? EDIT2: Maybe related, but filter for UUID=0xfd6f shows no reuslt, filter for =fd6f does.

Awesome concept. I enjoyed reading about the privacy concerns on your website, as well. Akin to what I suspected with regard to to the proliferation of BLE devices. I would iterate one suggestion, please. I would particularly enjoy viewing the Map overlay with all found BLE device, whether by device marker and/or heat map. Presently, I am only able to view a map overlay of current devices, rather than the ability to also view historically located devices. Keep up the great work, Dev :-)

Scam, I thought german people were smart and polite.I guess some of them are just sitting around drinking german beer and hacking peoples computer.Boom Sing in german.

Nonsens App, its shows always no device to find, even if the Phone itself find other devives.

either my Galaxy Pro Tab Note 8 doesn't support this application or this application is complete garbage. My Bluetooth is enabled on high accuracy there is no other applications running at all except for this one ramble, and I let it sit for 10 minutes scanning with at least four devices visible and sending out pecans at layer 2 and this app shows nothing. Don't bother
