Good app, does exactly what it's supposed to. I just wish there were more ways to customize when reminders show up and how often, like being able to make them happen on a random day each week (or even month), or setting a range of how often they happen per day (like making it 0-3 would mean sometimes it could show up 3 or 2 times or 1 time, and sometimes it just won't happen at all)

Perfect, exactly what I was looking for! You can set up between 1 and 24 alarm notifications to go off, at random times, on your phone (with or without sound) during any customized time period you choose. For instance, between 9am and 4pm, and Random Reminder even lets you specify days of the week too. You do have to be somewhat tech-savvy, to know how to manually enable its notifications to your phone, and allow it to use battery when running in the background.

Devs changed how it works. Before it allowed you to create a list of reminders and would pick a random reminder from the list. It would do this however many times per day you set. Now it allows you to create a list of reminders and sends each reminder however many times per day you set. This is a complete change in functionality making it useless for what I was using it for. Obviously both methods could be implemented, so makes no sense to completely change the app like that.

Does what it says, except it doesn't respect its own settings for notification times. For example, you can set it to send notifications between 8am and 10pm, but it will send you notifications outside of those hours. Because of this defect and the disturbances it caused me, I uninstalled. It can't be that hard to make an app that has one job. And don't copy and paste your "Thanks, we'll look into it!" reply that is fake customer service garbage. Just fix it.
