Description
The goal of Read Scripture is that everyone would read the Bible for themselves and discover the truth and beauty of God’s Word.
To this end, we are curating a year-long Bible reading plan and supplementing the reading with amazingly creative videos (produced by our friends at the Bible Project) that explain every book of the Bible, major theological themes of the gospel, and tips on how to read the Bible.
We will house all of this content in a beautifully designed app that will be available to download in the App Store and on Google Play.
We encourage you to experience Read Scripture in community but it is set up so that you can go through it on your own.

This app no longer works on my Google Pixel 6A AND my Samsung note8. Every time I try to open it it starts to open and then immediately closes back down. BOTH PHONES!!! How terrible. I'm pretty sure it happened at the as time as the most recent update

Excellent app...when it works. I have the pixel 8 and when I try to watch one of the included videos the app closes. Same thing happens if I try to rotate the screen when the app is open. Another annoying thing is what when I am able to watch a video, the phone still tries to go to sleep, unlike when watching videos anywhere else, so I have to tap the screen like every 15 seconds to keep it awake.

The app seems good, but I can't watch any videos. Whenever I click on a video it just closes out the app. Just installed this app today, so it's up-to-date. I see others in reviews saying the videos in the app aren't working for them either. I'll likely just uninstall today bc there's no point in keeping an app that doesn't work properly.
