Description by J.W. Pepper & Son®, Inc. (from Google Play)

The Reading Session app from J.W. Pepper lets organizations host large group music reading sessions so you can benefit from your peer’s recommendations. This free app perfectly accommodates groups viewing music on tablets or smartphones at professional events like conferences, clinics, and in-service days.

Reading music with Reading Session is just like holding a piece of sheet music in your hand. You can move through pages sequentially or jump around as directed by the conductor. You can move at your own pace through the music if you want to focus or zoom in on specific measures.

Once you download the app and select your event, the music starts syncing to your device, which can help in low Wi-Fi environments. Once the event is over you can pull up the Session to revisit music you liked.

Because Reading Session is from J.W. Pepper, copyright is respected. Reading Session only contains content that creators and publishers have granted permission to use.

Comments on Reading Session for Android

★☆☆☆☆ Joey Dugger · Mar 2, 2026

If I could give 0 stars I would. It refused to load on my ipad, and barely worked on my phone. Bring back paper music, no one wants this!

★☆☆☆☆ Tony Rosetti · Jul 20, 2022

Doesn't pre-download on android. Really ruined my reading session experience. Thumbs way down.
