Reclaimed Pixel Dungeon is a turn-based pixel-art roguelite built around persistent progression. Descend into dangerous dungeons, fight for survival, scavenge what you can, and bring your gains home to rebuild a settlement that grows stronger with every expedition.

Every run is more than a race to the bottom. Resources, equipment, upgrades, and long-term progression feed back into your home base, giving you new reasons to return after every victory—or defeat.

REBUILD WHAT WAS LOST

Gather Wood, Stone, Copper, Iron, and Gold during your adventures, then invest them into your settlement. Develop structures such as the Camp, Vault, Forge, Alchemy area, and Garden, and strengthen your walls and towers as your home base expands.

Upgrading your settlement unlocks lasting training bonuses that can shape future runs, including improvements to health, strength, defense, movement, treasure hunting, combat effects, resistances, and more.

HUNT FOR BETTER GEAR

Equipment can appear across multiple rarity tiers, from Common and Uncommon all the way to Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Transcendant. Better rarity can mean greater potential, giving each promising weapon or piece of equipment a reason to make you stop and reconsider your build.

The result is a familiar dungeon-crawling loop with a new question behind every piece of loot: keep using it now, save it for later, or build around it?

TACTICAL DUNGEON CRAWLING

Reclaimed Pixel Dungeon builds on the turn-based foundations of Pixel Dungeon. Movement, positioning, terrain, enemies, consumables, equipment, and resource management all matter. Rush carelessly and the dungeon will punish you. Learn its systems, adapt your build, and make every turn count.

THE WAYFARER NETWORK

Wayfarer is an optional online layer for players who want more than a solo adventure. Create a Wayfarer identity, become visible to other participating players on the in-game map, communicate through private chat, and take part in supported player-to-player trading features.

Wayfarer is optional. The core dungeon-crawling experience can be played without enabling online visibility.

Reclaimed Pixel Dungeon is an independent GPLv3 fork of Shattered Pixel Dungeon, which is based on the original Pixel Dungeon. It expands on that open-source foundation with persistent roguelite progression, settlement rebuilding, rarity-driven item growth, and new online systems.

Recent changes:
Explore Stillheart Altars and take on optional vows, redeem community codes for rewards, discover new Alchemy recipes, and develop equipment, Artifacts, class items, and companions further. Wands and magical enemies can now gain Casting Speed, while the Greater Elemental is a stronger persistent ally. This update also improves endless floors, Active Play rewards, Marketplace trading, raids, saved games, Android displays, and overall stability.
