I've honestly enjoyed this game a lot more than I first expected. It's a gacha, but fortunately, it's not a P2W game, so there's no unbalanced game play. There are micro-macro transactions that can give you items to upgrade your followers, but not crazy enough where you NEED to purchase gems to have chances at winning duels or completing the "campaign" You can become one of the strongest players in the game without purchasing gems, it just takes time. But, I highly recommend this game.

The game is ok at best the majority of the consorts aren't even available through the events anymore and the slime and puppets are something I can gladly leave out of the game and frankly something that should be removed, and I know I am going to pile on here but the creators should really be focusing on the consorts that don't have secondary outfits and the ones that don't have proper voice actors from them which is why this game gets a four-star rating it needs improvement

Returning after 1 1/2 years and wow, this game seems dead. No new events, storyline expansion, no new linear progression. Only new skins and that slime thing, which only adds more convoluted progression in a non-straight way, while adding even more progression items to grind for. And here I thought the beast pen was already a convoluted mess. And even if one liked that, it's not a big addition. New characters are also event only, so normal, non spending players don't have any new goals.

Was a 4 star. dropping to a 1 because after trying to come back after a long absence, my account is gone, along with all of my purchases. Game essentially wants me to start from the beginning, even after trying all log in types and attempts to recover account have all failed. I doubt I can get a refund for my purchases made years ago. I just want my account back.

As others have said, events are only for Wales. You can get some required items from events as a free player, but it's limited, and then you need money to buy the rest. On top of all that events are ranked based so even if you do well another player can jump ahead of you and push you to lower ranking causing you to lose everything until you make more money purchases. Events are also extremely short being a couple of days. Developer say they care, but they haven't changed anything in years
