Description by Anthony Dahanne (from Google Play)

ReGalAndroid (RemoteGallery client for Android) is an open source (GPL v3) G2,G3 and Piwigo client for the Android platform; it aims at providing the best integration possible of a remote gallery on Android; better than browsing the web gallery with the integrated webkit browser.

ReGalAndroid is the follow-up of G2Android.

ReGalAndroid can run on Android from version 1.6 to the latest (it has been tested on various phones and tablets from 1.6 to 2.3.3)

Your gallery must have remote api access enabled ;
* with G2 make sure remote module is installed and enabled
* with G3 enable the rest access
* with Piwigo, to be able to upload pictures, enable the pwg.images.addSimple plugin

If you have the error 414 with G3, it means you're trying to load an album with many items. This is a known issue and will be fixed in a next release

Comments on ReGalAndroid for Android

★★★★★ Works fine I love that I can select multiple images in my normal gallery app and then 'share' those to ReGal to do multiple uploads at once to piwigo. Does just what I need and nothing more.

★★★★★ Its nice. Its basically act like browser. So far so good I would love see development being done. Its a great concept. But would like to see more features to added. Thanks

★★★★★ works fine with piwigo only flaws I found so far are: ugly design and not keeping custom order of albums

★★☆☆☆ Frustrated Worked back in the summer of 2011, and then stopped working when trying to upload a photo. I have waited for months for a fixed, and now in January 2012, still shows connection errors. Fix it already!!!!

★★☆☆☆ Couldn't locate options menu App launched in to 2 default galleries. No options menu present, couldn't do anything but look at some flowers.

★★☆☆☆ does not support self made SSL certificates I have SSL enabled on my piwigo server but app fails with sslpeerunverifiedexception

★★☆☆☆ Needs a better thumbnail view of gallery, to start. Lots of little issues. It force closes on me sometimes.
