RelaxTax: Austrian Tax Return

# RelaxTax: Your Tax Return Made Easy

No tax jargon, no stress!

RelaxTax and its friendly Tax Buddies help make your Austrian tax return easier to understand, prepare, and submit.

## How RelaxTax Works

1. Your Personal Tax Buddy
Choose one of four Tax Buddies to guide you through your tax year. They’ll ask the right questions to simplify the process.

2. A Questionnaire Tailored to You
The app adapts to your life circumstances, helping you complete a personalized tax questionnaire.

3. No Tax Number? No Problem!
Lost your tax number? You can use your e-card number within the app to request it.

4. Know Your Possible Refund
RelaxTax calculates your potential refund using your monthly net and gross income, which you can usually find on your payslip. Even if your income fluctuates, we strive to provide a helpful estimate.

5. Reviewed by Tax Experts
Before submission, RelaxTax’s experts review your inputs. If anything looks off, they’ll reach out to you.

6. Track Your Refund Progress
Stay updated on every step of your tax return’s journey, just like tracking an online order. While RelaxTax can’t speed up the tax office, we’ll keep you informed at every stage.

## How Submission Works

After you complete and submit your questionnaire in RelaxTax, our tax experts review your information. With your consent and based on the information you provide, RelaxTax may use official Austrian tax services, including FinanzOnline, to submit your tax return information to the competent tax authority on your behalf.
