I love the assistive potential - for anyone, to quickly identify the resistor s/he needs in a group of them (once the tool matures) - especially for the color blind who are at a major disadvantage right now for such a basic task

Nice app but needs slight improvement by way of exposure and color hue controls so that it can scan color code values more accurately. Otherwise it's a decent app and also "light weight" (lesser bytes compared to other similar apps available on this platform)

Sorry the idea is very good but if I place a blue resistor it says : blue, blue. So I thought ok can happen. I place a green resistor under the cam. Results... Green green green. This app is not even looking at the rings, or it can't find where rings are suppist to start and end... Keep trying 🙂

Very nice and useful idea, but unfortunately it does not work. Scanner mode does not recognize anything. (((

Love the idea, but the scanner doesn't work at all. I would also need the option to choose between 4 and 5 band resistors.

Recognized the background color only and just said Blue, Blue, Blue (which is the background color)
