Description
ResponsiBLUE is an app for University of Michigan students, faculty, and staff to help protect the entire U-M community and reduce the spread of COVID-19.
The app includes a daily self-screening tool for community members to use before entering U-M buildings.
The screening tool asks a series of questions based on CDC guidance related to COVID-19 symptoms and contact with others. Based on the responses, users will either see a green screen with a check mark, indicating they can enter a U-M building, or a red screen, indicating that they should stay home and take specific actions based on University guidelines.
Screening results expire after 18 hours.
This app was developed by U-M Information and Technology Services in partnership with the Office of Research and University of Michigan leadership.

★★★★★
Allows stop free entry into work! Avoiding all the check-in lines gives gets me to work on time! Just show the GREEN check mark and walk on by.
★★☆☆☆
I personally don't like this mandate, to me as a visitor it personally feels a bit cumbersome and annoying. Plus, if you are a visitor (no Michigan account or whatever) this app just redirects you to the website anyway. I wouldn't call that inherently bad but just what the heck is the point? Annoyed.
★★☆☆☆
Why can't it just show the Green check or Red X as soon as you finish the survey? The new UI shows an extra screen that you have to get rid of to get to the actual screen that we are required to show to people at the door.
★★☆☆☆
Cannot log in, have to use guest feature every time. Cannot log in with Google. It keeps telling me I already have an account associated with my email and phone number when I log in and I cannot pass this step even if I reset with a code. Not user friendly at all. I was told that I have to upload my COVID vaccination records to the app but I can't do it if I don't have an account.
★★☆☆☆
If you check in as a guest, you are informed that you may need to show the last screen at the event, but there is no way to save it. Edit: Even after the completing the questions, we continue to get reminders to complete the questions -- both before and AFTER the event we attended. Also, at the event no one asked to see the screen we were told to save.
