Comments on Retro Clock Widget for Android

★★★★★ Steve E · Oct 31, 2022

Wow, you all get it! You realized that most others clock and clock/weather widget are stupidly designed - non-sizeable microscopic date and/or time and tap events on date/time that go to the widget's parent app (dumb), instead of a sensible app, like umm, like Clock! While there is no tap configuration here you have simply done the smart thing that 90% of users need. Simple yet so much more useful than the fancy widgets that look pretty but are really dumb on tap actions. Oct202: Fails on Pixel 7

Used this compact app for years. Still my favorite time and date display on the home page.

★★★★★ James Irmiger · Dec 30, 2022

I've been using the Retro Clock Widget across several of my phones for years now and couldn't be happier. It's clean and doesn't affect performance one bit. I use both the clock widget (linked to my clock app) and the included, matching, date widget (paired to my calendar app). Keep up the good work! 2022 updare: Samsung S21 Ultra + Android 13...works great!!

After the latest update I cannot access the alarm clock by pressing the time. Very annoying.

PURE RUBBISH. It's just a clock. Nothing else. It used to have alarms and stuff. But now, nothing. Just a dumb clock.

Needs an update to work again. Has been non-working for several months now since a newer android update. Unfortunate since I have been using this app for years now and had to find an alternative that's close but not as clean looking. Please update the app for newer android versions.

I have using this widget for years and love it. I just bought a new Xiaomi phone running MIUI 14 and android 13, but now nothing works. The widget installs, but does not show up in the widget list. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.
