I was stuck in a loop re the firmware update. I followed the instructions from the article suggested by lumen labs. Success, firefly and helmet now synched with remote. Thank you. Keith P

So I just got myself a Lumos Ultra Helmet. After getting the app no issues with linking to the helmet, until..... Application forced to upgrade software this has put the helmet into some kind of 'update mode'. Upgrade failed like in many comments below and the helmet is fully stuck in this mode. Even complete discharge was useless Tried always to reset it and nothing worked My current phone: Pixel 9 Pro XL. To fix: try another phone (Honor and Xiaomi worked/ Samsung and iPhone did not

Just received my Ultra Helmet and firefly mini lights. They are well-made and appear to be high quality. However, the app is horrible. I just ordered these, and it is saying that I need to update firmware? Why wouldn't they come with the latest firmware? Even worse, the app does not update the firmware on the helmet or the lights. Also, I cannot assign any functions to the lights and cannot sinc the helmut and remote lite to the firefly minis.

Very slow unreliable app. Keeps failing to update lumps ultra firmware, so I can't access the helmet settings.
