Love the ring and the app provides the information I am seeking on personal stats. Notifications do not work despite putting it in an unrestricted stetting with notifications active, as you must with all wearables. I've tried troubleshooting advice. I do find the available widgets helpful for monitoring. Given notifications don't work, the widgets are a solid alternative.

Ok, but when I do gardening and DIY it keeps adding what sort I'm doing. Great if you're into jump rope or alpine skiing, but no, like most people I do DIY. Can it have an activity called DIY? My heart rate is pumping more than jogging when I'm on my shed roof felting. Or digging.

This is a far better experience over Oura. My smart ring history compromises of Oura gen 3 and Oura gen 4. The Ringconn version is on par. One price, no subscription...perfect for me. The ring battery has been performing as advertised. The app is tracking/reporting what I would be expecting.

Great initially. Year in, I noticed I'm not collecting data. The Rings battery I suspect, as I'll wear 2 days, and it's dead. Put it on charger, in under 2 min, says it's 100% charged. I Loved the sleep part, tracking my conditions, but, as a few others have said, at a year or so it stops working correctly. I've not called about it yet, but I will be soon. Hope I can get this rectified, as when it works it's really nice.

I believe that the app doesn't share details with third parties, but I do NOT believe that Ring Conn doesn't share the data that it collects and "uses AI" to parse through with third parties. Using AI on anything incurs a regular cost and Ring Conn isn't generating funds through subscription to pay for this, so they must be generating recurring revenue from somewhere. I'm reminded of CPAP machines that relayed your sleep quality information to life insurance companies for an easy profit.

Save your money. They destroyed their own product, so you can buy their new release in 2026. Their last update has rendered the ring useless. Their firmware update destroyed it. The battery doesn't last for more than a few hours and when I charge it I get "100%" minutes after plugging it in, only for it to be at 40% not even 5 minutes later. Way to destroy your product before a new release, right?

The device doesn't provide any notifications to indicate when the battery level is low. While the data itself is excellent, this lack of battery alerts is causing me a lot of stress.
