Description

Rivalo is a number merge puzzle built around a 4x4 board, swipe movement, three difficulty settings, score tracking, separate records, and saved board progress.

Choose a difficulty, slide numbered tiles, merge matching values, and continue until the target tile is created or no valid moves remain.

🎮 CORE GAMEPLAY

Rivalo starts with numbered tiles on a 4x4 grid.

Swipe up, down, left, or right to move all tiles in that direction.

When two tiles with the same value meet during a move, they merge into one tile with the combined value.

After each valid move, a new tile appears in an empty cell. Most new tiles show 2, and some can show 4.

If a swipe does not change the board, no new tile appears.

The main loop stays simple:

• Choose a difficulty
• Swipe the board
• Merge matching values
• Add score from merges
• Receive a new tile after a valid move
• Continue until the target is reached or no moves remain

🎯 DIFFICULTY SETTINGS

Rivalo includes three difficulty settings:

• Easy - target tile 512
• Medium - target tile 1024
• Hard - target tile 2048

Each setting uses the same 4x4 board and merge rules. The selected difficulty changes the target tile for the current run.

📊 SCORE AND RECORDS

Points are added when tiles merge. The value of the new merged tile is added to the current score.

Rivalo keeps a separate high score for Easy, Medium, and Hard.

The current score and high score for the selected difficulty stay visible during play.

When a run ends with a score above the saved value for that difficulty, the result screen can show a New Record message.

The home screen can show the highest saved score across the three settings.

🕹️ TOUCH CONTROLS

Rivalo uses swipe and tap controls.

Swipe in any direction to move and merge tiles.

Tap Restart to begin a fresh board on the current difficulty.

Tap Back to leave the current board and return to difficulty selection.

Tap Play Again on a result screen to begin another run on the same difficulty.

Tap Home to return to the difficulty selection screen.

There are no keyboard inputs, timers, lives, rewards, shops, accounts, online matches, wagers, prizes, boosters, hints, or extra board sizes.

🏁 RUN RESULTS

A run can end in two ways.

When the selected target tile is created, the result screen confirms the reached value and shows the final score.

When the board is full and no neighboring tiles can merge, the result screen shows that no more moves are available.

Play Again starts another board on the same difficulty. Home returns to difficulty selection.

✨ VISUAL STYLE

Rivalo uses a dark neon visual style.

Tiles use bright colors that change with their values. Numbers remain visible on each tile.

Tiles slide during movement. Merged tiles can show a short pulse effect, and new tiles can appear with a spawn effect.

The layout is vertical and designed for phone screens.

The current score, active difficulty, high score, 4x4 board, Restart, and Back controls remain visible during play.

🔄 SAVED BOARD STATE

Rivalo can keep the current board and score when the player leaves an unfinished run.

Returning to the same difficulty can restore that board and score.

Starting a fresh board with Restart replaces the current board for that difficulty.

Rivalo focuses only on 4x4 slide-and-merge gameplay.
