Avoid Roll printers for anything other than printing standard shipping labels. I went with Roll to avoid the nonsense that Dymo has implemented, but I'm starting to second guess that decision. Paid several hundred for a printer to be able to print various label sizes (produce info says it's possible) however on android it's not possible per their own customer support, and on Windows you can't even follow their website instructions to get it working. Their customer support had to provide drivers.

I just destroyed my Roll with a hammer. Worked for a while, been a brick for months. Won't connect to Wi-Fi no matter where the router is, constantly disconnects, needs 1/2 hour to print. App is garbage. I just want it to print, that's the feature I want. If it's not printing a label, I don't need that feature. It's bloated with so much junk it's worthless. You are not a social or shipping company, you are a printing company. Just make a printer that, oh IDK, PRINTS!!!!

Do not buy a roll printer you cant upload your own PDF files you can only order from their app which is stupid for a printer costing around $300 And I can't connect my etsy sellers account to the app either. Very limiting software **YOU'RE BETTER OFF USING APPS LIKE OPENLABEL** seems compatible with roll x1040 so far, and you can use your own PDF files ***Edit after reply: so yeah you can't print pdfs from the app you have to use a 3rd party app***
