Really good game, the UI is really done well, I did wish that it would have a pop-up warning on your first raid that you need Internet. I accidentally lost 60 gold because of that mistake. I also thought it would be cool if other players could see your base of operations, and place a castle there. If a player managed to take your castle it would give the attacker more coins than a normal castle, and would force the player who owns the castle to lose a percentage of their resources.

I completed the 40K on foot, only to be flagged for cheating. This is wrong—thier systems logged the walk wrong, and I was called a cheater by the app. I check my Google Maps timelines, and they have the walk logged. It said I would not be able to keep a 9 minute per kilometer pace for a 40k. That is much slower than a marathon pace for running. Very disappointing. Was excited to get result when run finished, only to be tag as cheating was annoying. Maybe have a secondary validation on something

Finally! Strata integration! How about Google/Android "Health Connect" since you integrated "Apple Health"? "Health Connect" is the official "Apple Health" of Android. It's beneficial, you don't have to worry about integration with every smartwatch and platforms, like "Apple Health", "Health Connect" by Android/Google will handle it all for you.

I played version 1, which was a somewhat unbalanced, but I liked and bought gems to support. Then everything was resat and version 2 came. It was not as fun. Now all progress has been reset again and version 3 started. Seems the developers agree that their game is not great, but instead of fixing they reset everything with new rules. Edit: gave it a look again, now there was a Garmin integration. Not as good as Strata imo. However, that reported my run as 0 km and at a wrong location.

No support. No one answers any emails. I switched phones and my account won't load now and no one helps. Good reviews are more than a year old. I was finally contacted by a rep and thought I was going to have to upgrade my review, but once they found out I wanted help with 'Run An Empire', not their app 'Stride', the contact dried up. I haven't heard from them in weeks. I'm not sure support staff actually exist in this organization.

A lot of tedium, too much to do and no automation. The territory function doesn't capture everywhere I've been. I can't visit hexes while I'm walking. And there are too few hexes that someone down the street has a castle on the hex where I live.

Good idea, bad execution. Tiles get blocked off until you succumb to their extortion. No, I don't want to pay 60 gold to buy a single resource item that I can generate on my own. Refuse to buy it? No worries, they'll keep blocking off more tiles until you don't have anything to work with. A large chunk of castles is unreachable without trespassing. Daily resets are at a weird time. Raid distance tracking isn't accurate while in the raid. Basically 0 player count in my area.
