Originally the audio sound of words matched the words. However, this is no longer true. Audio pronunciation is vital to learning any language. Below is part of my original review. The most accurate dictionary I have found. It also gives you some phrases to look at that you may not have thought of. Being a Russian studies major when I found this it provided a most valuable resource to me.

The most accurate dictionary I have found. It also gives you some phrases to look at that you may not have thought of. Being a Russian studies major when I found this it provided a most valuable resource to me. Now that I'm finishing an international studies degree I use it off and on to help me when I write poetry. My first language is English, however, I do my best to also write poetry in Russian. One poem I have been working on for 2 or 3 years now maybe even more will be bilingual

There is no support pronunciation or any kind of audio in this dictionary. No samples as well. Though I downloaded it twice to check if there was a problem. So disappointing!

Zero-star rating! When I tap the speaker icon, instead of the Russian pronunciation of the word, I get jiberish unrelated to the word displayed! Deleting app!! The dictionary content is extraordinary but performance is lacking. I had to give 1 star to post review. A Russian dictionary as complete as this, but with properly syncing of audio translations would be amazing.
