Description

La aplicación móvil SAbERES permite a los usuarios recibir medidas de Adaptación al cambio climático Basadas en Ecosistemas (AbE) específicas para su ubicación y modelo productivo. Está diseñada para acompañar a los participantes del proyecto SAbERES en México, pero puede ser utilizada por cualquier persona que necesite un sistema para registrar las actividades y los costos del modelo productivo y que desee recibir información sobre medidas de adaptación al cambio climático, mejorando así la resiliencia de su sistema productivo.
La aplicación ayuda al usuario a administrar modelos productivos mediante el seguimiento de todos los eventos almacenados en la aplicación, incluso actividades futuras, para las cuales se pueden configurar recordatorios y alertas. Los usuarios también reciben noticias y notificaciones de su organización local, del proyecto SAbERES, así como el boletín de las mesas agroclimáticas, que incluye patrones climáticos esperados y recomendaciones.
La aplicación permite a los usuarios almacenar imágenes de sus modelos productivos y actividades, así como visualizar estas con sus respectivos costos en orden cronológico. También permite a los usuarios interactuar entre sí y hacer preguntas a la “Inteligencia Artificial” de SAbERES, donde se comparten sugerencias específicas para un modelo productivo y una ubicación determinada.

La aplicación está siendo desarrollada por el Instituto Internacional para el Análisis de Sistemas Aplicados (IIASA), un socio austriaco del proyecto SAbERES en México, financiado por la Iniciativa Internacional Alemana sobre el Clima (IKI).
