In looking for a car, I bounced between car dealers, phone dialing & several apps such as Car Gurus, Cars, Kelly Blue Book, Car Fax & Safe Car. Two things to know: Get VIN # of specific car, and check that # on Safe Car to see if any recalls were issued at NHTSA. More important, I found that not all information was included under VIN number. When I put in the model, make, and year, in SAFE CAR app, It came up with 258 issues that did not come up under the Vin number. To be safe, CHECK BOTH.

Works well on 2 vehicles. Cleared one recall the day dealer corrected problem. Shows one open recall. Unfortunately I stopped at different dealer for correction. Couldn't bother to clear. Is there a way for me to clear?

Kia is not honoring there recalls on engines I have notified NHTSA gave report and also put claim in to Kia companies and have got no response on suv any of them they want you buy there cars and suv but don't want to take responsibility when you no there's been alot of recalls on engine's and other parts on automobile my car still sitting up since March 2023

Would not let me enter my VIN. I had to select the car by year maker model. When I did it showed zero recalls when I know there are two outstanding. Don't waste your time with this app.
