SaferWatch is a web and mobile based safety and security system. SaferWatch was built to provide a higher level of safety for individuals and enhance security for organizations including schools, corporations, public venues, neighborhoods and communities. SaferWatch empowers users to report an incident as they see it happening or submit a tip at a later time.
SaferWatch provides real-time two-way communication during emergency and non-emergency situations. Users, administrators, security personnel and law enforcement can now seamlessly communicate all on the same secure network.
SaferWatch Alerts provide detailed safety instructions based on the incident and the ability for users to contribute information.
SaferWatch is also key for corporations to provide duty of care to their employees and customers and help mitigate risk. SaferWatch offers several patent pending features. SaferWatch does not send out Alerts as a company, SaferWatch's clients monitor their own SaferWatch networks and interact with end users.

Wi-Fi Dependency of Safe Watch App I downloaded the Safe Watch app, but it needs Wi-Fi. Without Wi-Fi, it's useless. If you're relying on a hotspot, save yourself the hassle and skip it.

If you're going to offer a safety alerts app based on location, could you at least make sure the goddamned thing allows you to enter an effing location without crashing?!?!

While the information is extremely timely and useful, there are no options to disable non-emergency alerts overnight, there is no separate volume option for any of the alerts and there is no way to toggle individual non-emergency alert categories off even though the toggle switch appears (nothing happens when I touch any of them). I have been woken in the middle of the night for non-emergency issues because I have my alarm volume on for my actual alarms. I'm the fence about keeping it installed.

Easy to load, but when you click on non-emergency report a pop up come reminding you to call 911 if it's an emergency but if not to click ok. when you click on, nothing happens.

Police department alerts come through but can't be read because "Please wait, loading new Safer watch locations" pops up and never clears.
