EDIT: The recent updates have fixed my previous complaints, but replaced them with a new one. When shopping by category, some categories are broken down into subcategories, which is how they should be. This used to be true of all the categories, but now it seems like most categories are just one great big pile of the hundreds of things that go in that go in that category, in no particular order. Needless to say, this is a massive pain to scroll through to find what I want. Please, please fix it.

It's a little cumbersome for senior citizens is what I've noticed. I think you have more to offer, but the seniors can't necessarily access it because they are not Tech minded. They're the ones on low income a lot of them. Otherwise, I like it, I don't really care for the digital coupons what a Pia that is. Especially if your phone doesn't want to work in the store. I do find the clerks are friendly and helpful when it comes to seniors I watch them in front of me, and they helped them out.

I imagine if you're not trying to use food stamps it works well. But delivery isn't guaranteed, even if it's scheduled. The app is pretty awful considering the day and age. This doesn't reflect on my store at all though. Safeway employees are the best.

I like Safeway and most of the app is fine except the search function. I have to press each letter 10 times to get it to enter and then when I finally get it typed in it takes forever to search. Search bar is broken.

App is still super buggy re: fuel stations, I prefer the retired One Touch Fuel app. On several occasions at several locations, the Safeway app will create a charge on my card (I get the card notification), drain my Safeway points, but will not activate the pumps. Even if I stay to fuel, my points discount is lost. This has occurred at least five separate Safeway locations, all with different pumps that should be connected to the app.
