Great app. I would give it 5 stars if it showed the history of where my boat drifted through the night or change of tides etc. To the developer is this something that could be easily included?

Flexible settings, yet easy and does job well. Best for anchorage task. Different from other similar apps is that you can set it up after an anchor ⚓ is out. Allows to adjust anchor bearing, distance, danger sector, etc. I used it since 3 years and it works well. Minus one star 🌟 because to have a sound 🔊 alarm, one must keep phone in non-silent modus. So if I turned off sound for the night, app would not wake you up, like normal alarm ⏰ clock 🕒 does. Once this little inconvenience is fixed, I'd give 5 ✨.

It has flaws that makes it useless. Until they are fixed, two stars it is. Here's the anecdotal story that illustrates the point: we set an anchor alert with SailSafe on my phone to call another phone, and went ashore. When we came back to the boat my phone had been alerting for hours that there was no GPS signal. There are several problems with this: 1. When the GPS signal is lost, it's not the end of the world. The signal will come back. The app should wait a configurable number of minutes before alerting. 2. If the app alerts on GPS signal lost anyway, it should shut up and go back to work once the signal is back. It doesn't. 3. If the app alerts on GPS signal lost, it should also call the emergency phone. It doesn't. 4. The alarm should shut up after a configurable number of minutes. No need to annoy the boat cat for hours if we are not onboard. In addition, the app should alert even if the phone is in 'do not disturb' mode. To the author: please fix these issues and make your app great. [Written at 3am after another "GPS signal lost" alarm.]
