For those who cannot view the cameras outside the network: Do the port forwarding (in the router or modem) of the port 80 for HTTP port. This is to open the port 80 for HTTP communication. Over the internet, IPOLIS and Smartviewer use the port 80 to connect to the cameras or the NVR. In the manual, it says to open ports 554 to 558, but does not say that you have to open port 80 as well After a few failed connections, I opened port 80 in the router. Then I can see the cameras in Ipolis (for mobile phone) and Smartviewer (for PC)

Useless Useless the developers must have just a iphone. You Know Some Phones Don't Have A Menu Or option key. So the app is useless just like there dvr system. Was playing around with a system we ripped out of a customers business. They are in better hands now with a non samsung dvr

Does not work All I get is black screen with message to use menu to add DVR but no menu available. IPolis does not work either.

Doesn't work FYI to get your menu button (I have a note 5) long press the back button and in ANY app it works as a menu button. But ya this app doesn't work.
