I got my unit from Amazon at a really great price for the system I received. I was puzzled at first a felt like I'd never benefit from the system due to lack of knowledge. It's alright. (update) Dropped it down to a one star. Camera's last a year or two depending on what kind, even if they're rated to be outdoors. The app is getting updated now, but it was trash for 2 years. Out of my original nine cameras I only have five that work now since 2024. The app is still trashed you have to constantly exit it and reopen it trying to pull your cameras up on your phone. It's just as bad on a regular TV screen hooked up to your NVR. The playback is an absolute nightmare.

I've had OSI cameras for years. They work great for the most part. So why a 2-star review ? Because of the playback feature on the app. You go to play back, and it needs to load. Then it gets stuck at 99%. Then it says device not online. And it does this over and over and over. And yes I make certain the app is current. Now I don't often need to view playback. But when I do, it needs to work.
