Regretting ever making the decision to pull a mortgage through Scotia. So many ridiculous requirements and forced to also have an account with them which cost me monthly, something I was not aware of on signing. Also, they are terrible with paper statements and so much unnecessary mailing and calling. They even called my work (?) without letting them know why. When I called back they were just trying to sell me something. My workers thought the bank was after me... so unprofessional!!

I went to go and transfer money from my savings account to my checking all to find out last minute that they are doing maintenance and now I can't access ANY of my money. There was absolutely no notification about this. And when it said it was working again it wasn't at all. Scotiabank is one of the worst banks ever. They are constantly undergoing maintenance and when your app works it's usually within either a few days to a week that it ends up crashing again. Im very upset.
