Scratching 🎶 Deejay Ringtone

The best phone ringtones.
Scratch or scratching is a DJ or turntablist technique used to produce characteristic sounds through movement of a vinyl record forward and backward on a turntable, while optionally the crossfader is handled in a mixer.

Over time, the scratch has reached levels that exceed the definition of "a vinyl move forward and backward." Throughout the years and the help of the mixers, the DJs have invented dozens of techniques that can turn a simple sound in a repertoire of musical notes with beat and rhythm. To create these rhythms are used to "cut" the sound, that is, create a silence using the mixer so that a continuous sound can be divided into several notes. Thus they were created "tricks" or techniques such as transformer, the flare or crab.

Many techniques can dispense with the mixer since being vinyl an analog medium, it is sensitive to shock, vibration and speed variations. Thus, the DJ can create an infinite number of sounds based on one, vibrating the vinyl with your hand or by varying the speed of movement of the disc, appearing "tricks" like "UZI", the "tears" or "tips".
