And thanks to the data shared by Sea Hero Quest’s millions of users, we can better develop approaches to detect the navigational problems that people with dementia experience and pave the way to swifter diagnosis.
The game now lives on through Sea Hero Quest Research Edition, a password-accessed version of the game used by scientists around the world to drive more studies that will help answer the big questions in dementia and navigation. If you have a code to access this version, then you can make a powerful contribution to research by playing, and just 2 minutes of game time generates the equivalent of 5 hours of lab-based research data.
