I was having issues logging in, but then figured out that I needed to turn off the VPN on my phone so that I could get passed the login screen and use the app as usual. The app still works great, it just won't function if you have a VPN running in the background. I hope this helps some of the people experiencing issues with the app. Update (1/27/2026): Just bumped up my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars after downloading the latest update. Love to see that SSFCU has finally partnered with Belle!

I had difficulty accessing a current credit score because all the information on file regarding past accounts is from several years ago, and has none of the recent accounts listed in it. And I think this has negatively impacted my credit score.... unfortunately.

Can't even check my account balance despite answering all the security questions, providing personal information and having the biometric thumbprint. I seriously hate this app and bank and want to switch banks

Every time I log in I have to verify with a text. Regardless of say just logging into and verifying 2 minutes prior.

Can not log in to account through online moble app. Only if I use my Google web browser. I went to banking branch office to find out why I couldn't access the online moble app. And that's how we figured out that for some reason I could only access the account through my web browser and not moble app. I was first told that my phone was outdated, and I would have to buy a newer version phone and that the updated moble app is trying to work out the latest updates. "New updates no good".

There app is just a mess! I now have to download a number and receive a code to log in every time. I can't use my fingerprint or type in a code just to log in anymore. Also, they barely have banks in locations. So I suggest looking into another bank. Thank God I have another account

I'm thinking about closing my account at SSFCU and switching to a bank with a more reliable app. Seriously. I am about to uninstall and reinstall the app for the 3rd time in less than a week cuz it stopped working again.
