Useful for alerts but as a lot of shark sightings are by members of the public the type of shark is generally unknown. That's ok though.

This is the dumbest app ive seen, why would you report 1.2 m sharks that have little to no interest in humans ? It will just give people the wrong idea, sharks are everywhere, an app like this needs to just target large apex preditors that actually pose a slight potential maybe risk to people.

The notifications are not sorted by date, so old and irrelevant notifications are too prominent! The map is quite cluttered - needs a rethink. New sightings are slow to appear. The SLS WA page seems much more upto date.

If the intention of the app is to create unnecessary alarm in the community, I'd say it is successful. Annoying that every shark sighting is recorded. Even '1.5 m unidentified species'! Maybe limit it to sharks above a certain size? Or just Whites and Tigers? Otherwise, it's just fearmongering.
